A trailer for "Naked", the forthcoming CD LIMITED EDITION from the Milan, Italy-based rock/metal act EXILIA, can be viewed below. The CD's first single, "No Tears For You", will be featured on this deluxe release that includes unplugged versions of their top hits such  as Stop Playing God, Coincidence and more.

The other great news is that the band is  also going to perform at SXSW festival from March the 17th till the 21st, SXSW festival is the most important event in USA showcasing nearly 2,000 musical acts from around the globe at over 80 stages in downtown Austin, TEXAS at Bayou Lounge.

EXILIA nuovo trailer promozione album , Live Shows in USA e Show italiano sabato 13.03.10!!
Viene finalmente pubblicato il trailer di “Naked” , prossimo cd in edizione limitata  che uscira’ tra fine Aprile e  l’inizio di Maggio 2010 , che include un nuovo  brano inedito “No tears for you” +   le versioni unplugged delle hits piu’ famose della band da Stop Playing God a Coincidence + materiale video inedito.
Il singolo che promuove  il nuovo cd  è “No Tears For You” prodotto da Clemens Matznick e Masha Mysmane, mixato da Matznick al white Studios in Berlin,produttore di Guano Apes e Within temptation .

Ma le novita’ non finiscono qui ed infatti gli gli EXILIA saranno  ospiti del famoso SXSW Festival in Texas(USA)  dal 17 al 21 Marzo 2010 , il SXSW è considerato uno dei piu’ grandi eventi  americani che ospita oltre 2000 band da tutto il mondo con ben 80 stage ! Nelle date americane, Ale che purtoppo  si è recentemente rotto il braccio sinistro, verra' sostituito temporaneamente da un giovanissimo batterista di grande talento, Roberto Iaculli.

Esclusivo per tutti  i fans ed amici, rimane comunque fissato in Italia l’appuntamento per sabato 13  Marzo con un’imperdibile show  unplugged  al Tambourine di Seregno (Milano), non mancate!!

EXILIA made a career out of playing loud, angry rock & roll––loud and angry enough that placing the band in the unplugged setting has, until now, seemed unthinkable!
But the risk has  paid off because there is nothing more metal then their acoustic set!

EXILIA has followed the likes of other great metal acts as Korn, Nirvana, and Foo Fighters and prepare an incredible unplugged of their most famous songs.

Tracks such as "Stop playing god "  "Coincidence "  "Starseed" are working perfectly in this  new context, but also their brand new songs like "Far From The Dark" and "Are You Breathing?" are definitely getting deeper and their essential emotional weight is given by an amazing vocal performance by  Masha Mysmane that with her  charisma brings influences and abilities not often heard in soft rock!

Masha shows all her talent changing often her voice creating different levels of emotion  becoming angry , sweet and definitely hypnotic!

The unplugged gets rid of all the noise and leaves the guitar's riff  and the melody with pure unadulterated feeling in all songs, you will discover a new side of EXILIA that you can't miss!

The first EXILIA's unplugged show in Germany will take place on December 12 at Club Zentral in Stuttgart where the band will also present their new single!

For their new video, EXILIA created a powerful and hypnotic vision for their cover  of Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight" from their album  "My Own Army" which came out at the end of March 2009!
Today,September 21, at  8 pm at www.myspace.com/exilia ,  it will be possible for the  closest fans and friends to watch the preview of the new video!
"It was a pleasure to work with the italian director "Salvatore Perrone" says the vocalits Masha Mysmane "that helped me out to built this complicated story between father and daughter and  the little blond girl, Melissa , did an amazing job!  After we finished to record the  the video Melissa told us  that from now on  she wants  to be called Mexilia ! I guess she enjoyed the shooting a lot !"
The clip works as a perfect warm up for the shortly happening live shows of the Italians around front personality Masha Mismane. The second part of the “My Own Army” tour – the first one took place right after the release of the album in spring – will happen with two support acts TENSIDE and APRON.

The new videoclip  is almost ready!  The shooting of the second single taken from "My Own Army" was done in the last days in Milan inside an amazing location, an old aqueduct.

EXILIA's new album has been delayed due to scheduling difficulties but it's already official that the new record will be released around the 2nd week of January 2009.The promo tour that was supposed to start around the end of October will be moved in the next days in the first 2 weeks of December 2008.
The  tour will include dates in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, UK.

The Recording of the new album has begun!

The band is currently at Principal Studios  and recording is underway!

Masha has revealved that 'Ale Lera' form the orginal Exilia line up is back in action, currently at the studio with the rest of guys, totally commited to creating drumming miracles for a Band he sadly had to leave in the past due to unforseen personal circumstances.

It is also revealed that 'Dave Chavarri (Ill Nino) will be joiing Exilia in the studio to produce a selection of songs.

"The work has begun and we are very excited. I feel this album will represent some of our best work we've done and i know our fans wont be disappointed!"  Masha.

The new album is due for release around September 2008.

Exilia have just signed a new record contract with AFM Records (Germany) and Imortal Media (UK).
 
AFM Records has successfully built a strong reputation over the years within the ‘Metal’ genre of music and include acts on their rooster such as: Ministry, White snake, Theatre of Tragedy, Annihilator.
 
Imortal Media (UK)  is a new record label arm of (Imortal group of companies) that over the past number of years have grown their extreme branding fast and through sheer power and raw unconventional  business strategies that will undoubtedly get Exilia heard in the UK!
 
A new beginning is here! The new material is almost done and recording of the new album will begin in June at the amazing ‘Principal Studios’ in Munster (Germany) where the first record ‘Unleashed’ was born.
