EXILIA have announced some off-shows for this summer! While the band is ultimating the new album "Decode" you can hook them live in those upcoming shows that you can't miss.
The band will play a selection of songs from their previous 4 albums plus one song from the new upcoming "Decode", these shows will also be the oppurtunity to present their new band member "Aimer".

At the end of the Phoenix Tour "Alien" (guitarplayer) decided to leave the band. "It has been a life experience that we are forever grateful for and we have had some of the best times in our life playing with Alien" says Masha "but it's time for a change and everybody of us has to follow his own dream, Exilia will go on with a new guitarplayer which is ready to bring a new energy and enthusiasm in our music.
We are ready to write a new chapter of our music and to announce "Aimer" as a new member of EXILIA with whom we already started writing and producing the material for the new album".

EXILIA reveals the cover artwork and title for the band's fifth studio album, "Decode" which is scheduled for release at the end of May 2011.

Ms. Masha which is well respected for her lyrical content, dramatic and energetic live performances describes their music as a total impact with something real, something that cannot be contained in a commercial box.

"Music is my way to express myself and I get inspired by many music styles, writing and combining different genres to find the right code to decypher the sound I hear in my head, I can’t put any limits to it, our music is universal and does not belong to any system."

Decode, which invites all the Exilia's fans to reflect and decode the cover’s meaning, unleashes an uneasiness reminiscent of EXILIA's earliest and most unbridled material.

The new album will contain 12 tracks and it’s gonna be a proud, fully power and honest album keeping the pure EXILIA code.

After spending the last months on the "Phoenix Tour" that brought Exilia all around Europe, the band just started the pre production for the new album that is gonna to be released between April and May 2011.

Masha says that the new record will take her music and lyrics one step forward, sounds like it’s gonna be as powerful and aggressive as you would expect from EXILIA.

On October the 31st, as a special event for Halloween, EXILIA will play live in Birmingham @ Eddies Rocks for "Femme Metal Party".

"No Tears For you" is the first single of the new EXILIA's release "NAKED" that came out in stores on May the 21st.

The clip was shooted in San Marcos Texas (USA) on March 2010 while the band was there to perform at the important american event SXSW festival!

The new single "NO TEARS FOR YOU" entered the DAT20 Charts in Germany peak position 11st!
After 6 weeks the song is still in the charts, this week peak position 16Th.

Naked is an enhanced cd that includes all the unplugged version of famous hit from EXILIA  such as Stop Playing God , Coincidence , Fly High Butterfly etc.  and that includes a brand new track NO TEARS FOR YOU +  special videos like the Alien's demonstration of all guitar riffs.

"NAKED" il nuovo "Limited Edition Cd" degli Exilia uscirà il 21 maggio, ma per i fan che stanno aspettando da tempo
gli Exilia posteranno sul loro myspace una preview del nuovo materiale.

EXILIA just got back from United States where they played In Austin for one of the biggest  american festival : South by Southwest (SXSW - http://sxsw.com/) which showcases nearly 2,000 musical acts from around the globe at over 80 stages in downtown Austin.

EXILIA performed their powerful and killer shows  and  obtained  an incredibile success among people from the business as well as from the audience litteraly blown up by Masha’s voice and charisma.

As John Barret wrote on Red and Black : “Afterwards I walked up 6th street (basically SXSW’s main vein) and heard something irresistibly heavy emanating from a club called Bayou. The heavy sound in question turned out to be Exilia, an Italian metal quartet fronted by a fierce female singer with dreadlocks. Though capable of earsplitting screams, she retained a highly melodic sensibility throughout the performance…”

On their official myspace and website it’s possible to see a lot  of killer pics and backstage videos  of this experience and you will get  more footage on their new video for the upcoming single “No tears For You” wich was shooted in San Marcos – TEXAS.

The band also appears in the great  Land Shark promotion’s compilation together with bands such as: Drowning Pool, Chickenfoot, Vince Neil, Five Finger Death Punch and many others.

As soon as they landed in Milan they went straight back to the studio to finish their upcoming limited edition release “Naked” scheduled on May 8th.

Gli EXILIA sono appena rientrati dagli Stati Uniti dove hanno suonato ad Austin in uno dei piu’ grandi festival americani che ospita circa 2000 bands da tutto il mondo con oltre 80 palchi disseminati in tutta la citta’.

Gli show  sono stati come sempre potenti  e aggressivi ottenendo un ottimo successo sia di pubblico che tra gli addetti ai lavori, come descritto da  Jhon Barret sul  Red and Black:

“Stavo camminando sulla sesta strada praticamente la via principale del SXSW festival ed ho sentito qualcosa di irresistibile, potente e violento provenire dal club Bayou . Il suono heavy in questione si concretizzava negli EXILIA una band Italiana capitanata da un’aggressiva e feroce  cantante con dreddlocks capace di far sanguinare le orecchie  con il suo scream ma anche capace di mantenere un alto sensibilita’ melodica attraverso tutta la performance…”
